Babies2Sleep has helped so many families. Can we help yours, too??
"Karen was a breath of fresh air in solving our sleep issues at home. Her breadth of knowledge and understanding of the various sleep dilemmas that can plague children and parents was outstanding. Bed time is no longer dreaded or painful. Now the children are sleeping truly through the night! We often refer our own patients too her and they have noted similar outcomes..."

Being a new mother of 3 ½ month old twins boys, I had no idea what I was doing. Life for me completely took a turn for the worse after my babies were born. All the twins did was cry and not sleep until the greatest person came into my life and saved both my husband and I.
Karen Pollak and Babies2Sleep came to our house and gave me the best information anyone can ever give a new mother. She helped put my twins on a schedule; I had no idea what that even meant! Karen taught us about feedings and why twins cry. We learned that just by changing simple little things you can make your life a whole lot easier.
It has been only two days now since Karen was here and my boys are already sleeping 6-9 hours at night in their own cribs! Now my husband and I have more quality time together and more time to do things around the house. I feel that all the stress and crying I was doing for the past three months has finally gone away.
New moms; if you are like me and are having sleep issues, give Karen a call! I promise you that with a little work life will start to become so much easier and both you and your twins will be so happy.
Thank you, Karen for saving us. We still have a ways to go to make things even better, but in just two days I have gotten more sleep than I have since my twins were born and no more tears!

Friday at bedtime Oliver fussed for only one minute before falling asleep. He woke a couple of times during the night but never took more than 2 minutes to get back to sleep and no visits by me were necessary; and he slept 12 hours! Last night when I put him down for the night he crawled towards the side of the crib towards the door and watched me go and never made a peep. That has NEVER happened before! I went in just once around 11:30 and we got another 12 hour night out of him. What a wonderful Mother's Day gift!
We have a neighbor with a 9 month old who is having sleep problems and I keep telling her about our fabulous experience working with you. There is really nothing better than having a plan and seeing that plan work. We talk about you all the time and are so thankful for your help.
- Mommy to Oliver, 7 months old
"Little did I know that I would feel like I was going to church. I really found religion when I went home, schedule in hand, and told my husband that our babies were going to sleep through the night at 3 1/2 months. Prior to asking Karen to come in our home, I thought I was going to lose my mind in our domestic chaos. I was almost ready to volunteer for the Super Nanny show! Having Karen come to my home and see my issues in their context was absolutely critical to our success. Within 48 hours of implementing your recommendations, our babies were sleeping through the night! We are enjoying our family so much more now thanks to all your great advice and counsel."
-Mommy to Jace and Jocelyn, 14 weeks old
"Right after Sophia's cold passed we got right back on track with your program/routine. Now I don't even have to (although I enjoy it!) cuddle with her before naps/bedtime. I change her and put her right into the crib. She will either roll over and go straight to sleep or sit up and play for a minute and then fall asleep. She's napping 2 hours in the morning and 1 1/2 hours in the afternoon. She is sleeping 12 straight hours through the night every night! We even took her to Carmel for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary and brought the crib along and she did great! After six months without a full night's sleep, it has been very exciting! I already feel like a new person. It seems like all of our efforts have so quickly begun to pay off.
We are so appreciative of your time and can't thank you enough for all of your help. I really can't tell you what a difference your help has made on our lives. We are forever grateful to you and I am singing your praises to everyone I meet!"
-Parents to Sophia, 6 months old
I wanted to share some good news with you. Last night Myles went down at 7 pm, had a dream feed at 10 pm and then didn't wake until 4:20 a.m. for his feed (he then went down again until 6:45 a.m.). WOW! We were so happy; there was no fussing from 7:00 p.m. to 4:20 a.m. That's a first for us!
Myles took a one hour and 45 minute nap this morning AND a one and a half hour nap at 11:30 a.m. (that is also a first for him)! And, he went down for his both naps easily. I thought you'd be happy to hear the progress. Thanks again for all your help.
- Mommy to Myles, 6 months old
"Thank you for the wonderful sleeping gift you gave to my family. I was truly lost with the birth of my son in September and I am not sure I could have had as wonderful an experience as I did with my second and last baby if we had not found you! I actually just recently had a total schedule breakdown with Tommy due to colds, teething and a home in escrow. However my sister reminded me of what you taught us (both her with her twins and me with my two singles) and it works so well that by the second night Tommy was back on track and happier than he had been in weeks. And with Ava, the sleep chart worked like a dream. Her sleep schedule took about 3 days to perfect and we had a very peaceful time going through that process.
I could never explain to you what an angel you were to me in those first couple of months and your work just continues to be a gift in my life. So thank you for taking me on as a client even though I did not have twins and please know I refer you to so many of my own clients as well as my pediatrician."
- Mommy to Tommy, 5 weeks old and Ava, 3 years old
Things have progressed quite a lot with Ethan and we're happy with the results so far. We began by putting him down in the crib drowsy, but staying with him and holding him while he lay in the crib. Within a day or two he was sleeping MUCH better both in naps and through the night. Last night was the first time we laid him down and left him alone in the room. He was quiet and content, and quickly fell asleep on his own. Seemed like a miracle, but it happened!
At night he has been sleeping about nine hours, which is amazing for him and it seems to keep getting better as he continues in a good direction. We saw results within a couple of days - now it's been a week and a half - and the whole process has felt much gentler.
We've continue to pay attention to day time nap and eating schedules and are still charting everything. Your coaching has been much appreciated and the improvements we've seen already have been dramatic.
- Mommy to Ethan, 7 months old
I just thought I'd let you know that bedtime tonight went so smoothly. Hope settled right away and Faith settled in after only about six minutes. WOW!
Karen, thank you so much for your visit. We have so much promise now. Your schedule and suggestions make sense and we look forward to putting them into practice. I'm excited about tomorrow because we get to "start fresh". What you do is truly a blessing. I hope you get great satisfaction in knowing that you bring peace to the families you work with.
Thanks again Karen. I will remember always the day you came to visit!
-Mommy to Hope and Faith, 9 ½ months old
"Things have been going very well with Eli since our Babies2Sleep meeting in April. I am now one of those people who can say "my child naps at 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m." ! He goes down with little or no crying each time, and for that I'm grateful. I think having the "transitional object" is one of the key things that has worked for him. He LOVES his bunny to death and sucks on its hands instead of crying. Thanks so much for all of your help!"
-Mommy to Eli, 6 months old
"Thanks so much for making the time and effort to help us with managing the sleep/routine schedule for Alexandra and Annie! You're advice and valuable insights were right on target...within a day of our meeting the twins were out of our bed and sleeping in their own room for 11 hours straight! This after seven months of sleep deprivation for the parents and twins alike. We have great confidence in your ability to decipher what the issues are and implement a plan for success. We look forward to passing along your name to friends who you may be able to help"
-Parents to Annie and Alex, 7 months old
Jamie's doing great! He sleeps incredibly well. 12 hours every night and a two-hour nap every day like clockwork!
- Mommy to Jamie, 7 months old
"Babies2Sleep helped me get my life back. Karen came to our home and not only helped us to get the babies to sleep through the night, she also helped us get them on a schedule during the day. The babies eat at the same time and take naps at the same time, which allows me to have time to myself.
My life changed for the better from the moment she arrived at our house. I would encourage any parent of twins to take advantage of her knowledge. Our only regret is that we didn't have her come over sooner!"
-Parents to Dylan and Ryan, 4 months old
I just wanted to say thank you for your call the other day. I probably didn't express on my call to you how happy I am that Chase is now sleeping 12 hours a night.....but I am thrilled! I can't thank you enough for helping me out....I only wish I had done it months ago.
- Mommy to Chase, 14 months
"Our twin daughters were getting up at all hours of the night, sleeping in our bed and rarely napping. Things in our house were out of control!
Karen helped us to see the patterns that we were unintentionally setting. By seeing them, we were able to correct them by implementing a schedule that integrated feedings, naps and bedtime.
Karen assesses a situation without being judgmental or critical. Her research brings a focused awareness and perspective that can be well-utilized by parents of twins whose problems are much different than those of a singleton."
-Parents to Emma and Molly, 8 months old
Thank you so much for your thoroughness and thoughtfulness, both in your time with us and as evidenced in your analysis of our situation! Your dedication to your work (and the families you help) is very notable. We have had a couple of longer stretches of Leah sleeping in her crib with no assistance (up to one hour of sleeping alone at naptime--not bad when you consider that up until one week ago she only ever slept in my arms during the day!).
- Mommy to Leah, 3 ½ months old
Our twins are 2 1/2 years old now and excellent sleepers, but they did not start out that way! My kids woke up every other hour until they were about 7 months old. Karen taught me how to get them on a schedule for sleeping and naps. I followed her suggestions and the children were on the schedule within four days and now have excellent sleeping patterns. They still sleep for 11 to 12 hours at night and take a 2 to 3 hour nap during the day.
Thanks for the help Karen, because without you I don't know where I would be today!
-Mommy to Vinnie and Nicole, 2 ½ years old
You helped us with our newborn and a very unhappy toddler. All is very well now! We implemented everything you suggested and, with time, we figured it all out. Both children now sleep 10 and 12 hours (3.5 years/20 months) each night with no night wakings. You did wonders for our family!
-Mommy to Lauren 4 months and Drew, 2 years old
We implemented the schedule changes and the new routines on Monday and they are working great. Every nap has been over an hour long and the boys have slept from 7 or 7:30 p.m. until 5:00 am or so. We are then quickly able to get them back to sleep until between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.. Even the babysitter left a note on Tuesday that said, "Had a great day. Love the new schedule!" Have a great day.
-Mommy to Rowen and Bennett, 5 months old
Thanks to you, the boys sleep from 7:30 PM to 5:00 AM. As you know we all need to be on the road by 6:40 a.m., so we feed them and get them ready and we are out the door by 6:00 a.m. I just love how well our routine is working!
What I learned from you has been invaluable to me. I really don't think I would be as organized as I am with the babies if I hadn't met you!! Remember, the resource you provide is "technology"...as my husband says. He tells me that he is able to enjoy these babies more than his other kids when they were babies because they are very happy in their routine. They sleep through the night which makes everyone in the family happier. "We didn't have the "technology" back then that Karen has made available to us now!" he says.
I tell everyone how much I learned from you. Almost everyone says to me, "I bet you're not getting ANY sleep (snicker, snicker)" and I quickly tell them what I learned from you and how I am getting sleep and they are all incredulous! I've had people tell me "I only have one and he/she doesn't even sleep that much at night. I highly recommend your services. Thank you again so much!!
-Mommy to Richard and Owen, 8 months old
"I never thought in a million years that a week after talking to you we could have such success with night sleep! I'm so glad I didn't listen to our doctor who told us that some babies just aren't good sleepers!"
-Mommy to Logan, 5 months
It's a miracle! Yes, this is the e-mail you've been waiting for. Noah responded really well to sleep training. On our first night he only cried for 40 minutes, and then slept for 5 ½ hours! Last night without any crying, he slept from 8:15 pm to 5:15 am, cried for 20 minutes, then went back to sleep! I feel like a completely different person. I'm so happy and excited, and feel like now I can start to have a real life and maybe be sane again. Noah's daddy has been in charge of all sleep training, which has been nice for me, to finally be off-duty at night and during naps. And it's been good for my husband to have so much success. Thanks so much for all of your support. We're doing great! Noah is now sleeping through the night. I feel transformed and Noah seems much calmer and happier. Despite my knowledge of child development, I did not realize that Noah was ready for the next steps towards independence, and thus did not allow him to develop these new skills of self-soothing and sleeping independently. You've made a huge difference in our lives.
- Child Psychologist and Mommy to Noah, 6 months old
"I just wanted let you know that my twins are doing great. Everyone who visits my home is so surprised that Maya and Luke go down so easily at nap and night time. They are excellent sleepers. Ever since they started sleeping through the night I rarely need to get up in the night. I would like to thank you for introducing me to your scheduling and sleep processes. It is so much fun to spend time with my babies now. A year ago is like a dream...
-Mommy to Maya and Luke, 1 year old
"My baby boys have been sleeping most nights now from 10pm - 6am solidly. I can't tell you how much this has helped all of us at home. It was because of your recommendations that I now put them down earlier without using a swing, give them the 'dream feed' and they're happy! Thank you so much, Karen!
-Mommy to Andrew and Joshua, 4 months old
"Karen gave me the ability and strength to teach my babies to sleep through the night and gain control of my life! The lessons learned through Karen have been invaluable. Thank you for all your help!"
-Mommy to Connor and Ryan, 4 months
We first met Karen Pollak in 2006 while attending her class while pregnant. We were expecting twin girls and she was a wealth of information ranging from all avenues of baby care, sleep, etc. We both left the class saying, "WOW...Karen really knows her stuff!" She was a huge resource then and was the right choice for us to turn to when we hit a roadblock of needing help with our daughters' sleep issues at 14 months.
Karen was extremely detailed as she took into consideration each of the girl's needs as she developed a Consultation Plan for us. In a matter of a couple of weeks we were able to master our roadblocks of modifying nap routines, reduce/eliminate night wakings and eliminating the bottle at certain times of the day. The support from Karen during this time was tremendous as moments were really tough, but we knew in our hearts they were OK. Karen developed an Implementation Plan for us on each of the girls that took place prior to us even tackling the plan. Once the new plan got rolling, along with consistency to the routine, the roadblocks fell into place and our daughters responded beautifully!!
The experience with Karen was one of the best things we could have done as parents to help our daughters. Karen is a wonderful, kind, caring women as a parent of three, including twins herself. We were in good hands with her advice and support and will return to her again in the future as our daughters grow and new challenges arise.

Had I read your light hearted 'Baby Insights' two weeks ago, I would have enjoyed the text and thought that it was funny. Today, not only do I appreciate the read, but I can also read between the lines as I totally get it (what my baby needs) thanks to you.
I want to thank you for improving the quality of our life and giving us the support to be a truly happy family. We are now a more rested mom and baby!
Mommy to Aidan, 6 months
It's a miracle! For the last two nights, the girls have slept from 7:00 pm until 6.30 am! The only thing I did differently was turn off the nightlight at 7:00 pm. I just can't believe it. They have also started going down for most naps without any crying - they are just quiet until they fall asleep.
Your methods really do work! Thank you so much for your support and encouragement. I really don't know what I would have done without you.
